Characteristics
The 7th International Trade Fair of Mechanical Engineering FOR INDUSTRY 2008 with a guarantee of leading institutions, unions and associations active in the field of machinery engineering and follow-up branches will be held on 15 – 17 April 2008 at the Prague Exhibition Centre in Letňany. The trade fair administration ABF, a.s. pays extraordinary attention to preparations of the FOR INDUSTRY trade fair, and places emphasis on the development of the main topic wholes - specialised section:- Machines, automation equipment and technologies
- Tools and instruments
- Materials, components and subdeliveries
- Pneumatics and hydraulics
- Production and subdeliveries for the automotive industry
- Metrology, testing and laboratory technologies
- Logistics and operation technologies
- Waste management, recycling and cleaning
The future of our mechanical engineering should be seen in a fast rate of development of new products, which is supported especially by the high-quality designing of partial assemblies and components. Suitably selected components with a new design implementation ensure advanced characteristics, high operation reliability, higher efficiency, cost-effectiveness, operation safety, optimum costs of maintenance and long service life.
A special section of the trade fair will be focused on producers, subcontractors and new production trends in the automotive industry, which has a long tradition in our country and has an important share in the total economic results of the Czech Republic. Its importance in the GDP creation and in the support of employment is rising, and it has a decisive influence in foreign trade as well.
All the areas of mechanical engineering production are more and more influenced by automation and robotic applications which determine the trends of future developments – to produce in a very short time with the help of modern processes. That is why the aim of the trade fair is to present also applications of the new generation of industrial robots and handling systems. A great importance is also represented by the field of the information technologies offering CAD, CAM and TPV systems, including the complete SW and HW equipment for designing and construction workplaces.
The trade fair places emphasis also on other activities connected with production and affecting its processes, its quality and useful value, and provides businesspersons with space for discussion with the authors – designers. The high-quality industrial design enhances products especially in terms of aesthetical, ergonomic, technical or environmental parameters, whereby their competitiveness is increased as well.
A very important task during preparation of the trade fair is played by cooperation with university workplaces, leading to an active participation of the faculties of mechanical engineering and research centres for mechanical engineering technologies and procedures. Specialised secondary schools and apprentice institutes welcome presentations with practical examples of preparation of students directly in expositions. The environment of the specialised trade fair is an ideal place for motivating and acquiring new qualified employees in mechanical engineering disciplines.
